Light and Sound interactive installation

We installed audio and interactive hardware and created animations and music content for a light installation at the Shenzhen Guangming Art Center. 112 projectors installed by EK Light face the ground over an 800m2 area, to which we added 8 speakers, thermal sensors and a Usine control system.

The light and sound contents are triggered by generative systems including interactions with visitors. The original requirement was to play with light beams; those not being visible enough we adapted and used the “gobos” included in the projectors to draw shapes on the ground. The spatialized sounds follow the lights’ motions.
